SaveWise.ai was built on one simple promise: your financial data is yours, and yours alone. This policy explains, in plain language, what that means in practice.
The short version
- SaveWise.ai works fully offline and does not require an account.
- All transactions, categories, notes, and your name are stored only on your device.
- We do not operate servers that receive, store, or process your financial data.
- AI insights and your Financial Health Score are generated on your device.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data — there's nothing to share, because we never receive it.
What information we collect
SaveWise.ai does not collect personal information through its own servers. The only information the app stores is what you choose to enter — such as your display name, transaction amounts, categories, dates, and optional notes — and that information stays in local storage on your device.
If you enable optional notifications (such as the Daily Reminder), these are scheduled locally by your device's operating system and are not transmitted anywhere.
How your data is used
Your data is used only to power the features you see in the app: your dashboard totals, reports, transaction history, and AI-powered insights (including your Financial Health Score). All of this processing happens locally on your device.
Data storage and backups
Transaction data is stored in your device's local app storage. If you use the Backup/Restore feature, the backup file is created and saved by you, to a location you choose (such as your device's file system or a cloud storage app you control). SaveWise.ai does not automatically upload backups anywhere.
Third-party services
SaveWise.ai does not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. If this ever changes in a future version, this policy will be updated and you will be notified within the app before the change takes effect.
Children's privacy
SaveWise.ai is a general personal-finance tool and is not directed at children. Since the app does not collect personal data on our servers, we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, in a way that would require special handling.
Your choices and control
- You can edit or delete any transaction at any time from within the app.
- You can export a backup of your data whenever you like.
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
